Two little ladies and the manliest sports


Below are photos from the national Naadam festival in Ulaanbaatar.  I was the guest of Daria, a precocious 8 year old who isn't afraid to correct my Russian grammar.  She's adorable.  We had a fun morning watching the opening ceremony and the start of the wrestling competition.  Our favorite spectacles were the mini Naadam wrestlers (above) and the fantastic contortionists (at bottom).
